Credit Analyst and QC Lead/Manager
Team Management
- Lead and supervise the Credit Analyst team to ensure performance meets defined KPIs.
- Oversee daily credit application processing to ensure SLAs are met in both volume and quality.
- Manage shift schedules to maintain full operational coverage, including weekends and holidays.
- Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and internal processes.
- Provide training and continuous coaching to new and existing team members.
- Monitor team performance and implement improvement initiatives when necessary.
Credit Assessment
- Conduct thorough credit evaluations, including KYC verification and other screening criteria.
- Analyze applicants’ creditworthiness and make final approval decisions based on internal policies.
- Apply professional judgment and past experience to support credit operations and process improvements.
Quality Control (QC)
- Develop and implement a robust quality assurance framework to monitor the accuracy and consistency of credit approvals.
- Conduct regular audits and sampling of credit decisions to ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
- Identify errors or trends in credit decision-making and coordinate corrective actions with relevant stakeholders.
- Provide regular feedback to analysts on common gaps and training needs to improve quality outcomes.
- Collaborate with the Credit Policy and Risk teams to refine approval criteria and enhance quality metrics.
- Maintain detailed QC reports and dashboards to track performance, error rates, and continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a reputable university.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Credit Analyst or KYC Team Leader role within the financial services industry.
- Strong ability to assess customer identity and evaluate risk profiles.
- Experience in quality control or compliance monitoring is a strong advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace tools.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Good command of English is a must.
- Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
