As we are growing bigger, we are looking for an Engineering Manager who will be responsible for designing, building, improving, and operating our Products and systems. ​Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for overseeing a team of Engineers in the completion of engineering projects.
  • Lead a Squad or multiple teams to build/ enhance features and products that support business priorities.
  • Own the process improvement in their own area of responsibility including managing their stakeholders throughout the process.
  • Identify, analyze, optimize, and justify removing unnecessary or outdated processes and barriers to improve the overall productivity in their squad.
  • Work with their peers and manager in their engineering department to define and apply standardized practices to streamline executions across teams/ facilitate better collaborations.
  • Coach team members to help them become better professionals and engineers. Provide Actionable Feedback and own the Individual Development Plan for their team.
  • You will be the steward for good engineering quality and practices in the organization and your product domains.
  • You will work in cross-functional teams and meet great people regularly from top tier technology, consulting, product, or academic background. Requirements:

  • Passion in software engineering, product, organization, and people development
  • At least 10+ years of experience in software engineering with 2+ years of experience in leading a team
  • Strong technical leadership on vision and setting direction for a complex system in a medium-to-large size organization
  • Experience with design, development and operations of highly available (24/7) and large scale distributed systems with millions or more users
  • Excellent understanding of software engineering concepts, algorithms and design patterns
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills to manage both technical and non-technical peers and stakeholders
  • Excellent leadership and independence to work in dynamic and agile startup environment with high ambiguity
  • Excellent organizational ability in coaching, engaging people and managing performance
  • Expertise in Go / Python / Node.JS tech stack and Cloud services is an advantage
  • Experience in B2C Internet products like online finance technology is an advantage
