As a Data Modeling Analyst, you will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced models and simulations to support the Operations team in optimizing performance and resource utilization. This role emphasizes the use of mathematical modeling, simulation, and forecasting techniques to replicate real-world operational scenarios, evaluate potential outcomes, and guide decision-making. You will collaborate closely with the operations team that manages agents, transforming operational data into actionable insights through data-driven experimentation and scenario modeling. By leveraging statistical analysis, optimization, and predictive modeling, you will help design efficient workforce strategies and improve overall operational effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Operations team to define business challenges, optimization objectives, and performance metrics.
- Collect, clean, organize, and analyze operational data to extract insights that support model formulation and development.
- Formulate and build mathematical or statistical models to represent and simulate operational processes.
- Apply operations research techniques such as simulation, optimization, and linear programming to derive optimal or near-optimal solutions.
- Develop, test, and deploy models to support routine decision-making and process automation.
- Design and maintain monitoring dashboards to track model performance and operational metrics.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance modeling approaches by staying up to date with emerging trends and methodologies in operations research and data analytics.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in data modeling, analytics, or operations research.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proven capacity to develop data-driven insights and solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the capability to convey complex analytical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
- Solid foundation in advanced mathematics, including linear algebra, probability, and statistics.
- Proficient in data analysis, visualization, time series forecasting, predictive modeling, and machine learning techniques.
- Skilled in Python and SQL for data manipulation, model development, and automation.
- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Version Control Systems (VCS) is preferable
- Experience in operations research methodologies, such as simulation, linear programming, and optimization is strongly preferred
